ABSTRACT

The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 196 countries and territories around the world. The number of deaths keep on increasing each day because of COVID-19. According to World Health Organization (WHO), infected COVID-19 is slightly increasing day by day and now reach to 570,000. WHO is prefer to conduct a screening COVID-19 test via online system. A suitable approach especially in string matching based on symptoms is required to produce fast and accurate result during retrieving process. Currently, four latest approaches in string matching have been implemented in string matching;characters-based algorithm, hashing algorithm, suffix automation algorithm and hybrid algorithm. Meanwhile, extensible markup language (XML), JavaScript object notation (JSON), asynchronous JavaScript XML (AJAX) and JQuery tehnology has been used widelfy for data transmission, data storage and data retrieval. This paper proposes a combination of algorithm among hybrid, JSON and JQuery in order to produce a fast and accurate results during COVID-19 screening process. A few experiments have been by comparison performance in term of execution time and memory usage using five different collections of datasets. Based on the experiments, the results show hybrid produce better performance compared to JSON and JQuery. Online screening COVID-19 is hopefully can reduce the number of effected and deaths because of COVID. © 2022 Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science. All rights reserved.

ABSTRACT

The presence of the Covid-19 virus invades countries around the world, has paralyzed all human activities including education. The enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO), has resulted in all teaching and learning (TnL) activities being transformed into virtual or online learning forms. This scenario has changed the existing learning system, and provided a new perspective on the importance of digital technology in education. However, the implementation of online learning is not as easy as one might think, yet presents challenges for students, parents and teachers. This study was conducted to analyze parents’ perceptions of digital-oriented learning during MCO based on the UTAUT Model. For this purpose, a quantitative study was conducted randomly in which a total of 103 respondents were involved in this survey. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software was used to analyze the collected data. The results of this study can provide input for improvement in the national education sector in the future. Hopefully, the country's education sector in general, will be more advanced compared to the passage of time. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

ABSTRACT

ICT is considered as one of the main elements in transforming the country to the future development. Moreover, ICT is becoming more increasingly important as Coronavirus (CoV) disease or Covid-19 is triggered by the end of 2019. This paper aims to analyze the integration of ICT to support online learning during the covid-19 outbreaks. The methods being used for this research is questionnaire survey, that was response randomly to the total of 118 total of respondents. However, just 114 of the respondents are qualified to be analyzed. The questionnaire was distributed through the google form application. The results indicate that ICT integration has a great effectiveness for both teachers and the students during the Covid-19 outbreaks, with some improvements needed. © 2020, World Academy of Research in Science and Engineering.
